COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AMENDMENTS

Notice is hereby given that the County of Washington proposes several substantial amendments to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.   The proposed amendments have been placed on public display online at www.racw.net for 30 days on May 16-June 15, 2020.  Copies of the document will also be e-mailed or mailed upon request by contacting Brenda Williamson at 724-228-6875 Ext. 219 or brenda.williamson@racw.net.

The County of Washington proposes the following substantial amendments:

CD 18-03 Canonsburg – Street Reconstruction – funding increase

CD 18-08 Charleroi – Recreation – funding increase

CD 18-10 Donora – Recreation – funding increase

CD 19-01 California – Recreation – funding increase

CD 19-04 Carroll – Demolition – delete project

Comments on the proposed amendments can be submitted the following ways:

  1. Written comments can be mailed to the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington, 100 West Beau Street, Suite 603, Washington, PA 15301 by June 15, 2020.
  2. Written comments can be e-mailed to brenda.williamson@racw.net by June 15, 2020.

                  The Washington County Board of Commissioners will consider and take action on the proposed amendments at their regularly scheduled meeting on June 17 or 18, 2020.
