NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
COUNTY OF WASHINGTON
AMENDMENTS TO ANNUAL ACTION PLANS FOR CDBG PROGRAM

Notice is hereby given by the County of Washington that it will hold a Public Hearing on November 30, 2022 at 10:00 AM, Courthouse Square, 100 West Beau Street, Suite 603, Washington, PA. The purpose of this Public Hearing is to discuss the proposed amendments to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, which will be incorporated into the County of Washington’s Action Plans. The proposed amendments are on display for public inspection during normal working hours at the office of the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington, 100 West Beau Street, Suite 603, Washington, PA and posted at the following link: AMENDMENTS

The County proposes the following substantial amendments:

CD 20-05 Canonsburg Demolition – cancel project
CD 21-03 Canonsburg Street Reconstruction – increase budget more than 25%
CD 21-20 New Eagle Sewer Improvements – cancel project
CD 21-27 Countywide Home Rehabilitation Program – decrease budget more than 25%
CD 21-28 CDBG Program Planning – cancel project

All interested citizens are invited to attend this public hearing and present comments concerning the proposed amendments. Written comments can also be submitted the following ways by December 14, 2022:

The Washington County Board of Commissioners will consider and take action on the proposed amendments at their regularly scheduled meeting of December 15, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in Public Meeting Room 104, Courthouse Square, 100 West Beau Street, Washington, PA. Washington County will make reasonable accommodations and services necessary for sensory-impaired and disabled citizens. Additionally, translation services may be offered upon request and availability.
